Laura Bergner is broadly interested in the ecology and evolution of wildlife associated pathogen communities, with a particular focus on the laboratory methods involved in generating viral community data. Within the project, her role involves developing the target enrichment methods used to characterize and quantify viral communities in rodent populations.
